Bio

 

In the world of human's, Crystal Vershock is a commonly known name. She is a successful, high end model. She seems like a sweet girl who just found her dream and blew up. Of course not everything is as it seems.

 

 

 

In the Underworld, Crystal is royalty. Her father and mother had been two influencial powers on the high council her entire life. This being said, she grew up knowing how to protect herself, though she had never needed to until she got older and began to wonder without the protection of her guard. When she became of age and began to mature into her  Electric abilities, she no longer needed to be protected anyway. 

 

 

 

When she did turn 18 however, she learned very quickly of a war that was brewing. Her clan of demon was too high in power and many of the other council families decided it was time for the Vershock to go since they heald to much power. She was targeted first, most assuming that this shocking little character would be put down easily. What her assailents, as well as Crystal herself, did not know, was that she had much more power within her. 

 

 

 

During an attack a water user attempted to drowned her in a fountain, sure to keep his body away from the element. Crystal was on the edge of conciousness when her psychic abilities took form and saved her. The poor boy tore out his own throat because of her compulsive strength. That is also when she learned of a new rule of the Underworld.You keep what you kill. It was simple, she destroyed him. She stole his life with her strength and for that, the universe blessed her with something cherished by her victim, his power. She felt the element shift its allegence instantly. It hit her like a train, the element filling her with its calm cool nature. That is the only reason she didn't notice the effects that her psychic abilities had on her. Days later, when the Euphoria of her kill died down, the effects hit her for the first time.

 

 

 

Whispers filled her mind and dark intentions begged to be freed. They took over her mind and burrowed deep inside of her psyche. The price of her mental abilities is the dark will of the ability. It has the strength to alter her reality as well as influence her decisions. She learned to maintain control and surpress light use of the ability, but as time shifted and war began in the Underworld, she lost more and more control over it. 

 

 

 

The war that was waged seemed to be a silent political battle that was often times settled through assasination. Only those within the council clans even knew of the war which limited the chess pieces. The Vershockclan was the muscle behind the council, which made it all that much easier for her fathers greed to win over the council. Her father shifted the war into his favor and turned a democracy into his personal empire. He was full of arrogance after his victory, to the point that he did not realize his son's resentment. 

 

 

 

Crystal and Fuma held a bond much stronger than anything known to the Underworld. Twins? It was unheard of. They were part of each other. Thanks to their father, Crystal was constantly fighting with every ounce of strength she had. She was never taught more than basic combat, and relied fully on her abilities to protect her. Fuma on the other hand, held both tallents without the price. Being her twin, he had psychic abilities but being the older male, he was taught like a warrior. He could feel his sisters pain, and her struggle to deal with not just her own darkness, but his as well. Through the bond, she somehow took the price of his use. It left her even more unstable and it didn't help that he too was over used by his father. Instead of being filled with the darkness of his psyche, he was filled with the darkness of hate and resentment. He loved Crystal more than anything, and that pain she felt egged him on to take action.

 

 

 

 

Fuma raged a second war to destroy his father. He did it silently, but effectivly. Fuma used his sister, and their subordinates. The vershocks knew what happen but had not the strength to fight the head of the clan. Instead they turned to the children of their tyrant. It didn't take long. Fuma didn't kill thier father, but when he took power he banished his mother and father for their greed. However, like father like son, Fuma found himself over zealous with power and rage. His ideals twisted over the times of war and left him cold. When Crystal try to save him, his paranoia had left him misreading her emotions and he ended up losing the ability to sense her intentions. He could still feel her presense whenever near, but the bond was muddied by the darkness between them. Unable to trust her, he broke even more and lost more of his sanity. He banished Crystal as he had their father. The only exception was that he now tried to have her killed. 

 

 

 

Fuma was in for a surprise when he found out that if she died, he most likly might follow soon after. Their spiritual link was too strong. That is when Fuma did something most unforgiving. He severed his end of the link. He searched for years and finally obtained control over a being who could make an amulate of great power. He forced this person to make him a charm to protect him from the Link.  As long as he wears it, he will not be destroyed by her loss. He connot however, sense her like he once did. She is muddled in with the rest of the population.

 

 

 

Crystal took her chance to leave. Hurt by her brothers distrust and the fact that he longed to kill her instead of protect her like he once did, she finds herself in denial. She protects herself and seeks way to bring him back to sanity, assuming that she just cant absorb the complete amount of his Price for using Psychics. 

 

 

 

 

CURRENTLY

 

 

Crystal is being sought by her brother. He cannot kill her himself, not with the strength he has just yet, but he can send many assassins to do away with her, all armed with amulants that give them the power to destroy her. On the run, she still seeks different ways to save her brother, as well as ways to disarm him of the Charm he wears.
