Kitana Hasanobi

Kitana is the decendant of an Ancient being who's origins tie into the creation of their universe. She has no specific race for she ties into each.
She was born into a realm plagued by war. Three major powers controlled this realm. The east and the west were controled by two brothers. They both desired power and ultimate control. The third was held by the Hasanobi clan. Her clan. It was headed by a council which strove to keep it’s people safe. It was the only peaceful place in the entire land, mostly because of the strength within its people to keep it that way. Of course, all good things must come to an end.
The two brothers of the East and West could not control their ambition for domination. The two brothers fought for decades before their sights turned on the independent lands which belong to the Hasanobi. In a joint effort, they attacked the head houses of the land. Kitana’s home was one of those houses. The night ended with the people of her homeland in despair. Many of the leaders had vanished or been killed in battle. Most of the common folk survived. Even the soldier and warriors had more alive than dead, but the hierarchy was in ruins.
It was easy for the brothers to devide the people, forcing them into choosing a side of the war. Kitana survived the raid, though many don’t know how. There had been rumors of her survival, as well as a few others, but she was the only one accounted for by the people. Still loyal to their homeland and their leaders. Her people helped protect her. They kept her hidden from the views of the two brothers, sure that they would destroy her the moment they found her. Though it was mostly due to the binary soul within her that she remained alive and learned how to protect herself.
With her name forgotten, Kitana wishes to find those of her bloodline and demand answers as well as bring her family back together.
She wishes to start with her father Hawk Hasanobi, then her mother, a woman even her own people know nothing about. Beyond that she has seven houses of leaders to find, as well as their kinsmen.
Once she has the numbers of her family, she seeks to claim the realm and return it to peace.

Through a series of events, kitana has found out that an Ancient being shares her soul. When she was attacked by the night raiders, the Ancient, who’s name translates to Toxic Venom, broke through her subconscious and saved her. As she has grown, Toxic has made a few more appearances. There have been things done with Kitana’s body, under toxics control that still haunt her.
Another discovery is that her aging has slowed to the point that it seems to have stopped. She appears to be age 20, though she may be quite a bit older.

The Full Story...
Ergaton is a binary realm that rests within a pocket demension. Fifteen planets represent the fifteen subdemensions, all connected to keep the flow of life. To each of these realms a singular particle was gifted, granting life, granting the creation of 15 dieties to oversee and maintain balance within these realms. When the time came for a diety to Ascent to the next life, they would be reborn to the opposite allignment. When this happened a guardian from Galaxy, a partial subdemension that resisded within the space between realms, would be sent to guide the young "Ancient" until they had matured enough to maintain balance on their own.
The only Ancient to remain predominantly neutral was the heart of the Universe. Mega Verse. This was where Tokka Vol'Kencia(Tok' Nika Vol'Kencia), resided. This is also where the majority of life remained. While the other realms remained under the supervision of the other forteen dieties, Mega Verse was the neutral plain where life could have a fighting chance. Tokka maintained the balance between man and creature, carefully managing the influence of her brotheren over the jewel known as Mega Verse.
Because of it's Neutrality, Mega Verse is closely alligned with Galaxy. Though Galaxy siphons energy from each verse to form its guardians in every variation between the fifteen dieties, it's purpose is to keep harmony. This means that they will take action to end the reign of a diety or protect an newly reborn diety from the rest of it's brothern. It is in their alligned natures to combat against each other but to prevent the clashing of dieties, and risking the loss of one of the particles that keep Ergaton functioning, Guardians maintain many purposes. They are the paladins of Ergaton, with a bit more free reign.
With two neutrals in existence, natural order had Galaxy taking on the neutral good and Mega Verse taking on the neutral dark. It is partially why Tokka remains a darker entity, though not neccessarily evil. Well, not at first anyways.

Ergaton is a very old verse that has survived many Ancient deaths except for Tokka's (Toxic's). She is an evolving creature of darkness. She was not always as evil as her people of the universe beleived, however she went many eons at a time without being seen, often only making appearances when other Ancients thought to try and invade or rule the very heart of Ergaton. This backfired when a being of light shifted to evil out of pure greed and decided to turn Mega Verse against Toxic during a time of peace.
Forcing misinterpretations of scrolls and hieroglyphics, he showed only of the evil she could do and what destruction she could bring. He eradicated any depictions of good that he could get his hands on. The only thing that exists to show her light was the forbidden sanctuaries which record the history of Ergoton. This place is hidden however, and none know how to find it. Most believe it is a myth.
So with no proof of her goodness, many began to fear her and rightfully so as she is the unofficial Queen of Ergaton. She holds in her Partical and soul the information for the Universe, much like a living Neucleous. She is gifted from each verse for this purpose, but holds most of her strength in the Base Verses (elements). It is because of her immense power that her people saught of a way to destroy her only to find after centuries of trying, and failing, just how immortal she trully was. It didn't help that her traitorous brother continued to stir trouble in her name every chance he got.
Desperate, the beings of Mega Verse begged for help at the sanctuaries of the other Ancients. When painted in the unholy light cast upon her, Toxic's sibling Anceints devised a plan, convensing her to share her power with their greedy children which resided in Mega Verse. She complied, blessing them with pieces of her power until she had depleated her energies.
With her weakened, they cast their last betrayl by convincing her to take a Guardian as her Consort and bare a child. Many of the other Ancients had given rise to the races which filled Mega Verse. They were all weaker beings which molded with humanity in one form or another and thusly required the energy she had so graciously blessed them with.
However, her child Rauxurtha was different. Like her he shared apart of every being they had given rise to. An original to each of their bloodlines, yet independant. His blood was not soiled by lesser beings but inhanced through the neutral power of his paternity. It was through his unique life that they destroyed Tokka.
When he reached maturity, they killed him and used his blood to bind her, expecting her soul to become trapped within the Mega Verse Sanctuaries and forever shattered apart while they harnessed the power of her spirit. With her power distributed amongst the many beings of Ergaton and Mega Verse, they destroyed her body immediately, using her own power against it. They cast it into the boundry between Void and Genesis, shredding it to pieces and never allowing any parts to come anywhere close to reforming.
The plan was flawless, save for the fact that Rauxurtha hadn't wasted any time in finding a Mate of his own and concieving the first of his line. With Rauxurtha gone, they took the name of their mother. Hasanobi. Their bloodline grew rapidly, for hidden within it was the soul of Tokka. Many generations would pass before her dominence would project beyond the subconcious existence she held inside of her decendence. Eventually, she learned how to project her desires.
Unfortunately, none could bare her conciousness and theirs. Most would go mad before they learned how to coexist. Others learned how to seal her away. Very few were durable enough to survive with her in the drivers seat of their body, until something unexpected happened. A gaurdian gave birth to a Hasanobi.
Tokka had spent generations in an instinctive battle to reach cognition but the introduction of a Guradian into her bloodline broke part of the seal that trapt her away. It freed part of her soul, but not enough for a true resurrection or rebirth. Instead, it leaked just enough for the natural cycle of rebirth, yet kept her trapped as a new soul was molded from tidbits which escaped. She had created a doppleganger of sorts.

More durable than her other decendance, Kitana was safe from Tokka's maddening effects but the fight for dominence would begin at a very young age. Awake and with only fragments of vengful memories, Tokka would have a need to seperate from her decendent, but with same claim to her soul, Kitana would hold fast to her body and mind without even realizing it.
The first time the tables shifted was when the Hasanobi clan found its first genocide. With the seal damaged, it would set off a chain of events through the realm. It didn't take long for the wrong people to realize what Kitana was and masked by the war within the realm, an army was sent to eradicate the Hasanobi before Tokka could escape fully.
Underestimating the fight or flight defence of the young girl, Kitana instinctively let go of her hold and Tokka quickly claimed her body. Most of the Hasanobi were killed. Any who survived took a new name and fled. Kitana never took a new name, but Tokka immediately began protecting her only chance to escape. With Kitana's own abilities still awakening, Tokka faked the death of the young girl, going so far as to hold the reigns of her body for several years until her name was forgotten and the existence of a reborn Ancient laid to rest.
When Kitana finally woke, she was a new person entirely. She had a few snippets of memory during the time Tokka had claim over her body. She even retained some of the skills Tokka had trained into her body. It was nothing great, but with the Ancient whispering to her, even taunting her at times, Kit learned quickly how to protect herself and survive.
